The University of Kisubi Service Learning Club has ushered in a new chapter of student leadership with the election of Ms. Namirimu B. Daisy as the Club’s third President. She officially takes over leadership from Mr. Ainemani Mark, whose tenure contributed significantly to the growth and impact of the Club’s service initiatives like the tree mapping project.
During the handover ceremony, the newly elected President and her executive committee participated in a leadership and mentorship workshop facilitated by Mr. Ssenyange Martin, the Patron of the Service Learning Club. The session focused on strengthening leadership skills, fostering teamwork, and preparing the new committee to effectively advance the Club’s mission of community engagement and service.
The event was witnessed by the Service Learning Coordinator, Br. Dr. Luwerekera Bernard, who commended both the outgoing and incoming leaders for their commitment to promoting the values of service, partnership, and community transformation.
